At monthly meetings, members of the AHW present and discuss previously circulated seminar papers and dissertation chapters, preparing them for further research, presentation at conferences, and publication.
By placing AHW participants in conversation with visiting scholars and established staff members, graduate students will gain insights into professionalization, both in and out of academia. Potential topics of discussion will include the challenges of shaping a survey course, pedagogical tools for teaching undergraduates, and strategies for entering the academic job market.
